In this module you will be learning about the different elements of the Psychotherapy File used in CAT.
In this module you will learn about how CAT conceptualises the development of Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorders (sometimes referred to as Borderline) and the use of the Self States Model to support your practice.
This section is all about how as therapists, we can get drawn into the 'push' and 'pull' during therapy, explained as transference and countertransference.

In this module, Hayden and Dawn are going to explain a bit about the different Consultation models in CAT and provide an example of one in practice.
Hayden had the opportunity to interview Dr Stephen Kellett, Consultant Psychologist and Psychotherapist and Programme Director of IAPT** at Sheffield University.
Dr Kellett has led a number of research projects and published several papers on CAT, it's efficacy, comparison with other forms of therapy and patient preference studies and is a leading voice amongst the CAT community.
**Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT)
In this module, you will work through the different CAT tools that we have covered in the course, to apply it to your own patient.
In the final module you will be learning all about endings in CAT.
